Here is a listing of nightclubs in the Phoenix area that offer Salsa dancing nights. Please contact each venue before going as Salsa nights change frequently without any notice. Some clubs have been around longer than others and some clubs play much more Salsa than others. Please use www.mapquest.com for unfamiliar areas of town or for more directions. Most entrance fees range from $6-$10 per person.

TropicalVibes Party                                                                                                                                                                  Salsa parties happen on every second Saturday of the month. Dancers of all skill levels mix and dance in this friendly, non-stop salsa environment.  Club-style beginning and intermediate lessons are held at 9pm. DJ Manny spins 95% salsa (5% cha-cha-cha and bachata) at the elegant Stars Ballroom--over 3,200 square feet of suspended wood dance floor! Manny continues to update his collection to offer a great menu of danceable salsa music for the salsero. Every month features a Jack-n-Jill Salsa Contest where salseros are randomly paired to display their best dancing to the music (finals are held 3 times per year). Occasional performances and theme parties.  This is a hot spot for salseros. Olive Branch (Fridays)                                                                                                                                    18 & over 10pm-2am. Salsa is played on Fridays. With recent renovations and a new management working directly with azsalsa.net, this team is dedicated to making OB "the best salsa night on Fridays"; this is the place to be on Fridays for salsa. Rain (Thursdays)                                                                                                                                       21 & over, 10pm-2am. 2 rooms of hot latin dance music. DJ Fuego & DJ Marcos, live Salsa bands, dance competitions, performances. A hot spot for salseros. Address: 1420 N. Scottsdale Road, Scottsdale, AZ. 

Layalena                                                                                                                                                   18 & over 10pm-2am, Wednesdays. Large dance floor. DJ Riz, also a salsero, plays mostly salsa with some bachata and cha-cha-cha.  Address: 1290 N Scottsdale Road, Suite 107 Tempe, AZ 85281 (NW corner of Scottsdale/Curry, behind "Burger King").

Pepin's                                                                                                                                                                                      21 & over after dinner. Salsa is played Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, & Saturdays 10pm-2am. This is where to find cuban-style salsa, cumbia-style salsa, and merengue. Various DJ's. Address: 7363 E. Scottsdale Mall. Directions: Going north on Scottsdale Road, make a right on 1st Street (just before Indian School Rd.); go straight into the large parking garage and park there. Contact: (480) 990-9026.

Palazzo/Downtown                                                                                                                                                                                                                21 & over 10pm-2am. 18 & over 2am-4am. Some salsa is played Saturdays 10pm-4am. Music is salsa, cumbia, merengue, and bachata. Address: 710 North Central Avenue, Phoenix.
